2015 will go down as the season nearly every minor league team attempted to outdo one another with the absurdity of their themed jersey nights.
The Lexington Legends would like to disagree however.
On June 24, the Single-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals is pushing the limits via bobbleheads…not jerseys. Before the Legends take the field against the Hagerstown Suns, the team will hand out bobbleheads depicting former Atlanta Braves infielder (and current coach) Glenn Hubbard’s famous 1984 Fleer trading card.
And, for the record, I’m fairly certain I know some guys who are going to want to get their hands on this puppy.
