Jose Canseco Has a New Gig

After laying low for what had to be an uncomfortably long time for the slugger, Jose Canseco has a new job.

The former American League MVP took time from transporting diapar-wearing goats (true story) to agree to serve as Director of Baseball Operations for the Texas Winter League.  In addition to that gig, Canseco will also spend time working with all teams as a roving hitting instructor, as well as handle Gameday Operations and Logistics.

In case you were wondering (you weren't), the embattled former All-Star's brother Ozzie will also be on board as a coach.

And, yeah, this isn't Canseco's first stint in the TWL.  Earlier this year, he went 3-for-20 in six games in three days down in Harlingen, Texas.
