Last time we saw Cincinnati Reds reliever Aroldis Chapman, he was being carted off the field after taking a linedrive off his forehead Wednesday night.
Friday, the lefty posted a picture of the aftermath.
Okay…I’m no surgeon and I’m terrible at math, but it looks like Chapman has more staples in his head than the ball that hit him.
Now, we all know what caused the traintracks across Chapman's dome…but how is the guy doing? According to reports, doctors are expecting him to make a full recovery, but he'll probably be on the shelf for four to six weeks. Pretty optimistic if you consider that the guy has a broken face (my term, not theirs) and a titanium plate above his left eye.
