Adam Greenberg is Back Playing Ball

Don't call it a comeback.  He's been here for years.

According to the Hartford Courant (and, obviously, his Twitter account), Adam Greenberg is back in professional baseball.  This time, however, it's not back to the bigs for "one at bat"…it's back to Bridgeport.

Greenberg hit .255 with 126 stolen bases spread across parts of four seasons (2008-2011) with the Bridgeport Bluefish.  After getting an at bat last season with the Miami Marlins, he spent Spring Training 2013 with the Baltimore Orioles.

About Shawn Anderson

Shawn Anderson is that guy who, instead of sitting there talking about the game going on around him, is talking wise about the history of baseball. He believes baseball figures such as Tommy John, Harold Baines, Ron Guidry and Billy Martin deserve their own plaque somewhere if not in Cooperstown. You can follow him on Twitter at @HOVG.
